Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. In short: we collect what you send us in an enquiry, and we use it to reply.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Pragma Technology Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd. (CIN U72900TG2021PTC153358) is the controller of personal data collected through this website.
Registered office: Flat No. 301, Golden Stone Residency, St. No. 17, Manchirevula, Hyderabad 500089, Telangana, India. Corporate office and correspondence address: 4th Floor, 401, Sri Dhanvi Sreenivasam, Marava Township, Narsingi, Hyderabad 500089, Telangana, India.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, company name, work email address, your selected area of interest, and the content of your message. When you email us directly, we hold whatever that email contains.
Information collected automatically
We run our own analytics on this site. It is not Google Analytics and no third party receives the data. It records the page visited, the referring website, a broad device category, and the time — nothing else. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
To count visitors without identifying them, your IP address and browser string are combined with a secret value that we regenerate every day and turned into a one-way hash. The result cannot be reversed, and because the secret changes daily the same person cannot be recognised across two days. Your IP address itself is never written to our logs.
Our server also applies a submission limit to the enquiry form, for which a daily one-way hash of your IP address is held temporarily and then discarded.
Separately, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP addresses and request details, for security and operational purposes.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything else.
Three small values are kept in your browser's own local storage. None of them is a cookie, none is transmitted to us, and all can be cleared through your browser settings at any time:
- whether you have seen the privacy notice, so it is not shown on every page;
- whether you have asked us not to count your visits;
- the timestamps of any enquiries you have sent, to limit repeated automated submissions.
Because we set no cookies and store no personal data, no consent banner is required and we have not put one in your way. The notice you see on a first visit is there to tell you what happens, not to ask permission for something that needs it.
Opting out
You can switch off analytics entirely using the button in that notice, and it will be respected on every subsequent page. We also honour the Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals automatically: if your browser sends either, analytics never runs and no notice is shown.
To be accurate about one detail: the page you are on at the moment you opt out may already have been counted, because the count happens when the page loads. Nothing after that point is recorded.
3. Third-party services
This site is deliberately light on them. Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than a font network, so no third party sees your visit simply because you loaded a page.
- Analytics — ours, self-hosted, described above. No third party is involved.
- Google reCAPTCHA — if enabled on the enquiry form, it is subject to Google's own privacy policy and terms.
- LinkedIn — our careers pages link to LinkedIn. Following those links takes you to LinkedIn's platform, where their privacy policy applies.
4. How the enquiry form works
The form is sent from this website directly to our own mailbox. It does not open your email application, and the message is not routed through any third-party form service.
5. Why we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss a possible engagement — on the basis of your request and our legitimate interest in conducting business.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of the enquiry form.
- To meet any legal or regulatory obligation that applies to us.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or automated decision-making.
6. Work email addresses only
The enquiry form is limited to business email addresses. This reduces automated abuse and keeps the personal data we hold to a business context. If you would rather not use a work address, email us directly instead.
7. Who we share it with
We do not share enquiry data with third parties for their own purposes. It may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf — for example our email provider and website host — under obligations of confidentiality. We may disclose data where we are legally required to.
8. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to twenty-four months, so we have context if you contact us again, and then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a client relationship, the data is retained under that engagement's terms and applicable statutory requirements.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS and configured with security headers to limit common web attacks. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is why we ask you not to send confidential technical or audit information through the website form.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or restrict or object to how we use it. Write to compliance@pragmatcs.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may complain to the relevant data protection authority.
11. Children
This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows when it last changed, and the current version always applies.
13. Contact
Questions about this policy or about how we handle your data can be sent to compliance@pragmatcs.com.
